Mr. Piggy
That's where we keep our tooth brushes. On the bathroom mirror. Mine's in the monkey. We're very mature and grown up.
I just cleaned my bathroom and cleaned the mirror off and put both the piggy and the monkey back on the mirror. I decided today I'm just not going to change anything. I'm going to deal with this like it's just a vacation. He's just on vacation.
My brother said to pretend he's at fat camp. Just fat camp. Ha.
Today the high in Bahrain was 102. Insane.
I skyped with Zack for a long time today. He always thinks the best time to skype me is at 7am our time, when i'm sleeping. He called today and I told him I was going to shower while he called his Ma. So I got out of the shower and sat on my couch chatting with him in a towel. Then, as usual, he introduced me to someone he knows. While my hair was wet, I had no makeup on. I had no CLOTHES on. Silly boy. He's lucky I love him so very much.
After I put clothes on he and his friend also held their computer monitors and webcams together so "The wives" could meet. Ha. At least I was clothed.
Yesterday was a really hard day for me. I have definitely had more good days or ok days, than I have had bad days since he left. That's for sure. But, yesterday was definitely bad. I cried until I was exhausted but I still couldn't sleep. Nothing could have prepared me for how much I miss him is all.
I know I'm not being "strong" enough for some people, but those people suck. That is all.
Today has been a good day! A little retail therapy always helps =)
Also, my tuition payment has been received and I will be a certified professional Doula by the end of the summer! Woohoo!
I have to get back to cleaning kiddies, I'm so glad we had this chat!
XOXO

I love this picture =)
I'm so glad my geeky husband and my geeky brother get along so well.

I'm so glad my geeky husband and my geeky brother get along so well.

My Dad especially...
My Dad and Zack dancing at my cousin Jen's wedding reception
My Dad and Zack sharing a Margarita.
I can't tell you how happy it makes me.
I miss hanging out with all of us together. We usually hang out all the time. Sigh.
Zack is doing well! We both get sad when it's time to sleep alone, but outside of that we are both doing pretty well. He is staying optimistic, only 51 weeks left =)
Today he had to shoot and he had an inspection so I'm waiting to hear from him. In fact, I probably would have heard from him this morning if Lucy behaved like a normal animal and didn't chew on my phone charger all night.
Just thought I'd get everyone a quick update. Nothing too exciting =)
Later Gators!

The Half I Will Not Miss
Just for this post, I'm going to try not to mention how much I miss my love. Because I do. It feels like half of me is missing. But, for this post I want to discuss with you amazing readers, how much I would like an actual half of me to be missing.
One of the only posititve things about having a year to myself is that it leaves me with lots of time for self improvement.
In the last 3 or 4 months I have started a post titled "Who says a girl can't gain one or two hundred pounds before her husband leaves for a year?", that I have never finished. For obvious reasons. It's a non-starter.
However, I have felt the need to address my quite obvious weight gain (as has my father.. often).
I am a stress eater. I wont deny it.
I have gained a backstreet boy more than I ever intended to weigh.
I am all sorts of motivated, and now that he's gone and I'm here to sulk in my sadness I am not eating much. Which is my usual pattern. It hasn't been a week yet and I bet I've lost 5 or 6 pounds. I don't know how many actual pounds because I haven't been on a scale and looked at the number in years. Literally.
Which means I don't know if i've gained a backstreet boy, or a backstreet man. Regardless, I want to be a much smaller human when Zack gets home next May.
So, here's my problem. I have no idea how to lose weight. I won't work out by myself, especially on base. It's just not happening. When I do go to a gym, I play on a treadmill or an eliptical. Which I guess is better than nothing. I am acquiring a treadmill tomorrow.
I tried to go to a weight watchers meeting the day after Babe left, but I just wasn't ready to leave the house yet.
Me not attending the meeting gave my uber-obnoxious, hypocritical, father (who I love dearly) plenty of ammo. You have no idea how stressful my weight gain has been for him. Sarcasm.
He told me instead of going to weight watchers he would pay for me to be hypnotised to eat better. I am a believer in hypnotism, because it helped my mom to finally quit smoking. However, she knew how to stop smoking beforehand. I, on the other hand, have no idea how to lose weight. I don't think they can hypnotise to know how to do something. Motivate me, sure. Im already pretty motivated, it is the knowledge of an actual weight loss plan that I am lacking.
I mean, eat right, workout, essentially work off more calories than you take in. Gotcha. But I feel like I need a plan. I don't really know how to eat right.
I have always been a big girl. Curvy. But never lacked attention. I had, and have, fantastic boobs, and great curves. I'm thick.
I have always ate junk, and a lot of fruits and veggies, and stayed relatively the same size. Until this year.
Awesome, yeah?
Yeah.
So I need help. I've considered everything. What worked for you? Have you lost weight? I'm dying to know what everyone else recommends. Undoubtedly, you will all comment on my facebook page instead of here, and that is fine- I'd just really like your feedback.
Lemme know.
Love you guys =)

So Sleepy I'm Delirious
I am tired of not sleeping. Actually I am EXHAUSTED from not sleeping. I am so tired of being sad.
I have been trying not to be so negative. It is definitely hard.
I was ok all day, but I was almost asleep just now and forgot momentarily the situation and thought for a second I would find Zack to hug him. I just want to hug my husband.
Ugh. I know that everyone is tired of reading about what a whiner I am, but I need an outlet.
I am so glad Zack doesn't hate Bahrain. That would be so much worse.
He has his first day of work tomorrow, and I am so excited for him! Isn't that exciting?
Despite the fact that I am a wreck, I am so very excited for all of the new fun things he is experiencing. I have done my fair share of world traveling, and I know that even though he will be homesick this experience will be so much fun for him.
He's such a sweet man.
When we were in Florida we had so much fun. I've never met someone who appreciates things the way Zack does. We went to Gatorland one day and Zack's mouth was wide open the entire time. When I probably would have just went through the motions, instead I enjoyed it so much. Same with Seaworld. It was unbelievable how much fun we had in Florida. He is that kind of person.
When he called me while he was boarding his first international flight and told me that there was "like 8 seats across" in the plane and practically giggled telling me about the tv's on the plane and how they would probably serve dinner, it suddenly hit me that I am so excited for him.
I look forward to every phone call, because even though he is sad, he is always so stoked to fill me in on what's going on (and because I love to talk to him, of course).
His roomie in Bahrain is also married, and he found someone there who he went to bootcamp with.
He said it's unbelievably hot. The high there is usually like 100 to 111. It's obscene.
Still no internet though. I've been able to talk to him on the phone multiple times now, and that will work for now.
I can't wait for this stupid year to be over.
I'm excited for him, but I still just want to hug my husband.
Words can not express.

So what if I cropped myself out, don't judge me.
This is us with real life gators at gatorland.
We paid extra to get to feed them.
It's a picture of a picture, but they really are real, we were that close!

Thank Goodness For Chapped Lips
For some reason crying, and being an overall wreck, has given me very very chapped lips. Or maybe they were chapped before he left. I'm not really sure. Regardless, I haven't been more than a couple feet away from a chapstick in quite a while. My mouth is on fire.
Everything reminds me of Zack.
Lucy reminds me of Zack. The mailbox, the tv, the remote, the refrigerator, the ipod, the grocery store, his stuff everywhere, the car, my keys, our bed, the pictures all over our house, his tooth brush that he forgot, all the dumb things we bought in florida, forgetting to take the trash out this morning, setting the alarm at night on the house, Jimmy Johns, just to name a few. All of those things make me very sad. But chapstick, which has a special place in Zack and I's relationship, reminds me of Zack and makes me very happy.
Maybe I'm willing myself chapped lips.
The chapstick story, is one of my favorite Zack and Molly stories. It's one of our first stories. It's the only story of how painfully smooth drunk me is.
When our friend Doug was house and dog sitting and we all started hanging out together, our main activity as a team was binge drinking. Which for me, means binge vomitting. Which, means chapped lips in Mollyland.
At the end of a long night of drinking Zack and I (who were definitely flirting- but not really anything at that point) and Doug and Hay all ended up in one place, one pile really, to pass out. Zack was singing me Banana Pancakes by Jack Johnson, because he's a sweet boy and he takes requests.
I was very drunk and needed my chapstick, which was probably in my pocket, but at that moment I didn't posess the ability to find it. Doug always has chapstick, so I asked him if I could borrow his. He reached across the pile of bodies and handed it to me and I put it on for 40 to 50 seconds.
Yep, it was like that. Very attractive I'm sure.
Zack told me he needed some and asked me to put it on him, I'm sure to get me to stop attempting to put it on myself. I tried, I did. His chin looked very chapped apparently. Then I gave the chapstick back to Doug. The next part is my favorite, because drunk me is so very smooth.
Zack said "You didn't even get any on my mouth!" and I replied "It's cool. You can have some of mine." And then my sweet future husband planted the sweetest, softest, drunk kiss right on my chapstick coated mouth.
Bow chicka wow wow... just kidding. I was way too drunk. After making a mental note to remember this moment forever and ever, I listened to Zack sing for about 10 more seconds and passed out holding Haley's hand.
I love chapstick.
I love Zack.
I miss him so much.

He's Safely in Bahrain!
That is all. He actually was yesterday, but blogger was being a jerk. So, yep, he's there. I've got to talk to him quite a bit actually. He's doing well =)

Way To Go
Seriously?
I am so tired. I just want my sweet Hubs to be safe and done traveling.
I was supposed to have an I made it to Bahrain message by now.
Then a delay with a connecting flight, and bad planning by people higher than Zackery, left him stranded in an airport in VA at 1:30 this morning with no flight.
The worst part is that Zack won't be able to get a full nights sleep in a bed until like the 14th. That's 4 nights.
Suckful.
I miss him so very much.
Today, as promised, hasn't been nearly as terrible as yesterday was. I'm mostly having a hard time because things are in such disarray for him. When things get hard for Zackery, and I am close to him, I do whatever I can to make things easier. Because I love him. I feel helpless. It is exhausting.
I can't relax.
I will sleep like a baby once he gets there.
Zack bought me a new laptop and a new cell phone before he left, both are skype capable. I spend most of my time obsessively making sure they are both connected, with loud ringers. I would be devastated to miss an oppourtunity to see his face, or hear his voice.
He is so funny. He's making friends in smoke pits, and with the taxi drivers, and people in elevators. He's so friendly, my husband. Everyone loves him. I am immeasurably jealous of these smokers, taxi drivers, and elevator passengers. I want to be with him so badly. uuugh.
Welp. One day down.

Awful Suckful Day - Also, potentially life-saving advice.
I am angry and sad and frustrated and overwhelmed.
SN: This is probably not directed at you. I have the sneaking suspicion the directee's do not read my blog, or read for that matter. Zack and I have both been overwhelmed by the support from our family and friends. We love all of you so much.
I swear if one more person tells me to be strong, I will lose my mind. I am literally seconds away from fluffy bunny kicking crazy.
YOU be strong. Be strong next time you feel like you should tell me what you would do, be strong and don't give me your advice.
I know we will be fine.
I know he is going to come home safe.
I also know that for the next 359 days, give or take, I wont be able to be with him. I won't be able to go grocery shopping with him. I won't be able to watch movies with him. I won't be able to cuddle, or sleep with him.
I am so sad. I miss my husband.
I missed him before I got out of the airport. I sobbed the entire hour it took me to get out of the parking garage.
Isnt that special that you think that if you were in my position you could high-five your husband and gleefully skip to your car, I guess my husband and i just love each other more. Or maybe theres just something really wrong with you, or maybe theres just something really wrong with me. Regardless.
Going to the airport with my husband, and leaving without him absolutely killed me. I am devastated. We do everything together, and even driving home to our quiet house felt like I was being kicked in the stomach. And not just because our A/C conveniently went out last night, and the dog food in the kitchen is cooking in these temps, and smells awful.
I'm not being dramatic.
I miss him with my entire body.
I love him so much.
I hate this.
I hate it.
I know it's going to be ok. But today blows. I miss him so much.

I Joined The Mile High Club
I am officially blogging from 30,000 feet. That's what the mile high club is... right?
Aaaand turbulance.
I hate turbulance.
We still have 2 frickity frackity hours to go.
I hate turbulance.
Zack is stressing me out. Because I hate turbulance.
Yay for being able to google "how much turbulance is normal?" While in the air. Woot.
Regardless of this flight... this turbulant flight... Our time in Florida was indescribably amazing. We were busy and happy the entire time. There will be blogs full of pictures in weeks to come.
Our Indiana adventure starts in 2 hours. We will be going from extraordinarily beautiful weather to crap weather, but we are so excited to see the fam. Especially Kenzie Rae and Baby Max. We've missed them so.
UUUGH turbulance. I like a flight that the seatbelt light never has to come back on for.
The good news is I have just discovered that in an unusual moment of stupidity I realized all of the time telling devices on my person are on Iowa time, which means I have one hour and 5 fracking minutes of this left and not 2 as I had previously thought.
Everyone pray for a safe landing, and that I don't freak out before then.
Speaking of freaking out, I had a mini-meltdown in the airport after saying goodbye to my sweet Grandma and my Uncle Denny. Thinking about it now I may start to lose it. There were a lot of reasons, but I mostly held it together since we were running super late and were minutes from missing our flight.
My Uncle Denny is in failing health, but mouthy as ever. Which makes me think he's doing alright. He's got many more years of (literal) kicking and screaming left in him if you ask me. But, I'm (technically) no doctor.
My sweet Grandma, who I love so very much, is spending the next 2 months at the house in Florida, during months that she is usually in Iowa, where she belongs. This means that unless I remain jobless and make another trip to Florida soon, I really have no idea when I'll get to hang with her again. Which makes me really sad, because I love her so much.
The kicker- the turn Molly in to a sobbing mess maker- was when Zack hugged my Gma (It makes me cry now to think about it- which is always nice on a plane) and Gma said "I love you, Babe. You be safe." Because my sweet Grandma won't see my sweet husband again for at least 12 months.
Because my sweet husband, who I love more than anything, is leaving in a matter of days. And that breaks my heart into a thousand pieces. He's leaving for a YEAR. How could this be?
And I sob.
For the first time since we left for Florida, I cried over Zack leaving. Actually I cried literally over Zack while he was shoving things from our suitcase in to the carry on bags so that our fatty suitcase could "make weight" after being 12 pounds (which translates to $49.00) over.
I don't want this to happen. I don't want him to leave. I don't want to miss him every single day for a year. It sucks. It is shitty. And if there was anything I could do to stop it and keep him at home with me, I would do it.
We seem to be descending... I sure hope it's on purpose. Don't they usually turn the seatbelt light BACK on when descending? I always forget that I hate flying.
I suppose I'll blog more later this week, since our Indiana adventure promises to be a little more relaxing and less jam-packed than the Florida adventure.
I've missed you guys =)
XOXO

XOXO

Here's To April
I hate when Grey's Anatomy makes me cry.
Hate.
I have real things to cry about. Tomorrow is April.
Our last full month before he leaves.
That's okay. Some people have much worse things to cry about.
All things considered I'm pretty lucky.
I have a husband who I love more than anything in this world, and who loves me back. And while I will have to suffer through roughly 350 lonely and likely sleepless nights without him, I know he is coming back.
He's going to a place with a lot of civil unrest but a place that is still relatively safe.
A lot of wives don't get those points of confidence. I'm lucky.
Ya know what's annoying? Every one kept telling us the first year of marriage would be the hardest, learning each other and whatnot.
When we first got married we fought a lot. A lot. Over everything. I married a drama queen, and guess what else, he did too. We still argue over lots of things. But even when I want to punch him my heart is melting with the amount of love I feel for him.
We get each other now. We love each other more, which I didn't think was even possible.
I bet our second year of marriage is the hardest.
I don't think we will fight and argue all the time, but I definitely think it will be the hardest.
Blech.
I colored my hair today. The color box said purest dark brown. I look like Morticia Addams. Not cute.
It needs to be fixed immediately.
I sure am glad Addison Montgomery is helping Callie. Stupid Grey's Anatomy. I hate how much I'm enjoying this Glee-esk episode. It's sad and musical. It's very confusing for my emotions.
Well, I am way too distracted for blogging boys and girls. I have lots to do. Because I am not dead, and therefore I have to do dishes. ;)
Here's to March, we made the best of it. Here's to an even better April.

Linny's Post
I've told you all before about how fantastic most military wives and girlfriends are, this is an example :)
Zack's best friend Doug, the one who introduced us and stood up for me at our wedding, met Linny about 400 days ago back home in California. This is what she posted on facebook last night. I loved it and wanted to post it for all of you to read =)

20%
I know that most people think I'm insane for dating someone in the military, but I don't.
I have come to find out, out of extreme boredom of course, this 'crazy' statistic...
Doug and I have been dating for roughly 400 days... you wanna know how many days we've actually visited each other?
...88 days, give or take a few since he had work a lot of the nights I visited him.
That means in the duration of our relationship, we have been in the same state approximately 20% of the time... That's pretty intense.
Yeah, so I guess you can call me crazy. But I knew exactly what I was getting myself into, I told him since the beginning that I will wait for him wherever he goes... and I have never been happier. I will gladly wait for him, wherever he goes for however long. It takes a special kind of person to make me want to be with them that badly. I don't think I would do this for just anyone...
I miss him so very much, and even though I was absolutely crushed when we realized he wouldn't be coming home in March, I don't care. Because I love him, and I miss him... We are strong, and even if some people may call us crazy, I don't think so. We just found the one worth waiting for. :P

Psych
About a month ago Zack and I went with the family to a psychic. At first we were both totally sceptic and even a little bit resistant, since we are both Christian and psychic's are sort of looked at, well badly, by a lot of Christians. But this woman told my Mom 20 years ago that she was pregnant with a little boy before my mom even knew she was knocked up. She predicted that an important man in my Aunt Mary's life was going to pass away shortly before my Grandpa died. She predicted my cousin Angie would get pregnant with a little boy, he is yet to make an appearance but anatomy scans show she's right. She's predicted lots of things I can't remember right now. She's scary good.
So we went.
Or I went, and Zack was forced. Whatev.
On mulitple occasions that day Zack and I had discussed the number 23 and how we thought it was good luck, so when my Mom called to tell me she had already bought my turn with the psychic and that I was number 23, I instantly felt like that was a good sign.
Zack was number 25, so I went first... obviously.
I had no idea what to expect and I was concerned she would tell me something awful, or be mean to me, or tell me to take my hair out of the knotted pony tail it was in (which she did to my cousin Stacy just a few turns before mine). Any of those things would have sent me running from the facility crying and sucking my thumb.
I was pleasantly surprised when it was finally my turn, when I walked up to a crazy-fun-aunt looking type, who seemed genuinely excited to see me.
I told her how excited and nervous I was and she asked if she had ever seen me before. I told her no, I was there with my Mom and My Aunt and Husband, and Cousin, but that I had never been before. She gave me a generic pink pen to give to whomever brought me with them, which seemed odd. Then I wrote my name on a piece of paper and thus began my "reading".
The first thing she said to me was "Are you pregnant?". "No." I told her. "Well it's unlikely, I don't think so, no. no. I'm not. Unfortunately." She smiled at me and said "What's your daughter's name?".
"Uh, no daughter. No kids yet. Unfortunately."
"Really? hm."
At this point I was disheartned. We were 0 for ... what, like 3? I dont know. I was bummed. Then she said "Where is your husband going?"
"What? What do you mean?" I stuttered, shocked.
"Where's he going? I want to tell you he's going to be safe."
Aaaand tears. Here I am in a bar, talking to a psychic, trying not to cry.
"He is? Thank you for telling me that, he's being stationed in Bahrain in May. Without me."
"Well, he will be safe." She assured me and touched my hand.
"Are you all trying to get pregnant before he leaves?" She asked me. This is a common question and usually when people ask I can feel them judging our decision and I feel I have to justify it.
"We're not trying, not preventing. We would love to get pregnant but we've been trying for a while now and it hasn't happened, so..." I stammered.
"Well, in your 25th year, you will have a healthy baby."
I'm 24. My birthday is in October. Que more tears... I'm a blubbering idiot ok?
"Yeah? That would be amazing. I would love that."
All of these quotes are freaking me out. Without anyone suffering through anymore conversation, here's the rest of what she told me.
She said that I needed to be in the health field, but not a "traditional" health career. Hm. Since I'm training to be a Doula, I thought that was very interesting.
She told me that I needed to try to save some money because while Zack was gone or after my pregnancy (if I got pregnant before he left) I was going to lose a lot of weight and need a new wardrobe. Well, sounds good to me.
She told me my husband is crazy about me. And a few other things I felt I already knew, like that my husband and I would have 2 babies a boy and a girl and we would all live a happy life together.
Our time together (about 7 minutes) was ending and I stood up to leave. As I did she said "Wait, I just got this, you'll be pregnant before he leaves. Go home and have lots of sex. Take a prenatal every day until you get pregnant. You're going to be pregnant before he leaves." Aaaand more tears. She also said that I needed to stop putting my body down. No baby wants to enter a condemned body, she informed me. Then she wrote down some words for me to live by, and repeat to myself often, "I honor my body as a vehicle of God".
And I do. I honor my body as a vehicle of God.
Wouldn't that be just the best? To be pregnant before he left? Ugh. I'd love it.
So we stopped on the way home and bought prenatals and I've been taking them every day since. With my fingers crossed and my legs in the air. Too much? ha.
Here's a rundown of what she told Zack about 10 minutes after she talked to me.
We were sitting across the bar, so it's not impossible that she knew he was my husband.*
The first thing she said to him was that he was super "potent" and fertile right now.
Also that in about 5 months we would feel and be financially stable- that's about 3 months in to his duty in Bahrain.
She said that he was going to have a little boy, with his wife (me, ha), and be a little league coach. She also told him (what I already knew) That he's going to be a great Daddy =)
Also, apparently we are going to Europe at some point, and having LOTS of sex there.
She said in 14 months she saw real estate, maybe an acreage, come into our lives.
And finally she said he may get a phone call from a female family member concerning a womens health issue, but that it would all work out, and everyone would be ok.
All in all we both thought it was very cool and we're hoping for the best. I believe I will get pregnant before he leaves =) Because my body is a vehicle of God. And I honor it.
I have a whole lot of netflix and dishes to catch up on today so I better get on with that.
Have a spectacular day readers, I love your faces!
Oh yeah! - I'd like to wish a very happy birthday to my Mommy, who is the very best mom anyone could ask for. This picture illuminates where I get my drinking tolerance - or lack thereof.
And to my sweet beautiful niece Kenzie Rae. Happy 4th Birthday peanut butter and jelly sandwich!
So we went.

Zack Made Me Cry
I know I promised a post about the psychic tonight, and it's started. But it's hard to complete when all I can think about is Zack leaving.
Today starts his last 3 day cycle of him doing his regular job before he switches to a desk job until his leave. Basically he will work these 3 days, be off until next Monday, when he will start working a day job in the office until April 16th. Then he is on leave to spend time with me and the people he loves, and get things ready to go. Then, just after our first anniversary, I will put my sweet husband on a plane for Bahrain. If I can function.
What am I going to do? I feel awful about it. Every day.
The plan was to use our tax return to make sure he had some travel money and to make sure we were both well equipped with a reliable way to skype with each other. Well, the plan is in jeopardy, because our tax return was not anything like what we expected. We had never filed as a married couple before. We expected more.
We are accepting donations.
Zack loves to read my blog. Which makes me so happy.
The other day he came out of the bedroom after reading it, and was sad. Zack is rarely sad. It's actually sort of frustrating. I don't want him to be sad, but this is a sad situation and he rarely talks about it. I asked him what was wrong and he told me that my blog made him sad.
Great. I knew I should have waited for something more exciting to blog about.
After several minutes of begging him to tell me what made him sad he finally told me it was because he read the post where I wrote about feeling guilty for not going to the dentist with him, because he said "because we do everything together. We're lovers. We're buddies. We're best friends." .
So we both started trying really hard not to cry. We told each other it would be ok, that I could handle things here and he could handle things there, and we would be better for it. We talked about how we will get to talk all the time, and about how absence makes the heart grow fonder... yatta yatta yatta.
I still cried.
So did he, don't tell him I told you.
It's not fair.
I know he's not going to Afghan. I know he's not going to Iraq. But, I'll miss him just as well. I miss him now, and he will be home in a few hours.
I love him so much.
We're buddies. We do everything together. For a year, a whole year, I will be without my best friend, my hero, my other half, the love of my life.
What am I going to do?
I don't want this to happen.
I would find someone I love this much, someone who loves me this much, and have him get stationed without me.
It will be alright. Right?
It will.
I'm lucky I found a love like ours. I'm lucky I have him to miss.
It still sucks.
Psychic post tomorrow? Sorry this post was such a bummer.
XOXO

About Waiting....
So about waiting.. I know I said we were gonna try that, but it absolutely sucks. I want a baby today. If I found a baby in Starbucks this afternoon, it is unlikely I would even report it. Baby fever has completely consumed me. Working at the daycare did not help matters.
As I'm typing this I'm choking down multiple terrible smelling prenatal and b6 vitamins. I want this. Zack wants this. The psychic we recently saw (which is a post in itself, I'll have to get to that) said it would happen. My Dad isn't really on board yet, but he's the only one actually voicing concern.
Obviously there are pros and cons. Zack will be gone during the pregnancy. That will be pretty awful. But we both want this.
Do I worry I'll be put on bedrest or something and have no one to help me? No. Not really. I am blessed with a lot of people who have a lot of love for me. And I just know I'm going to have a run of the mill healthy pregnancy.
I'm a worrier though, by nature, and I have thought of everything.
Everything. All of the scary awful things, too.
So instead of avoiding it, we're going back to our "not trying, not preventing" routine.
I can't wait to get to announce when we are finally expecting baby beautiful eyes =)
He already has a name. I know it will be a boy first. I can feel it. Plus, the psychic said so. Ha.
Man, it's nice to be blogging again. I have like 8 posts waiting to be published. I've typed my little fingers to the bone. So keep checking back- a lot of them are short little updates like this one, and some are novel style long.
Also, this week is National Genital Integrity Awareness week. If you or someone you know is about to have a little boy please check out the information available on the internet concerning circumcision. No health organization recommends infant circumcision, as anything more than a painful cosmetic procedure. drmomma.org has a wealth of information concerning infant circumcision and the dangers of having it done. It's not cleaner, it's not safer, and the rate of infant circumcision in the United States is rapidly declining because people are coming to their senses.
I'll leave you today with this- we'll talk again soon!

The following is information from the website circumcisiondecisionmaker.com
Human males, like all mammals, are born with a foreskin. Sometimes called the prepuce, the foreskin is thus an integral part of the normal penis.1 Its female counterpart is the clitoral hood, with which it shares many valuable features. The average adult’s foreskin is:
the most sensitive part of the penis, with 3/4 of its nerve endings
fifteen square inches in surface area, about the size of a regular postcard
a specialized double layer for a unique purpose.
The foreskin is intact in most Europeans, and in 80-85% of all other men around the world. At one time, virtually all Americans were intact, too. Circumcision became popular in the Victorian era because doctors (mistakenly) thought it curbed masturbation, which they viewed as an unhealthy practice.3 The circumcision rate increased due to social reasons and peaked in 1980 at 85%. Since then it has been declining steadily, dropping to 56% in 2006 and plummeting to 32% today as parents learn more about circumcision.
Our expert panel's consensus, after an extensive review of the literature, is that the only possible justification for circumcision is to treat boys or men with penile diseases or disorders—never as a preventive measure. The foreskin is a vital, functional part of the male genital anatomy. It is not a birth defect. Therefore, if there is not an absolutely urgent reason for removing it, it should remain intact—for ethical, psychological, and sexual reasons. The boy himself, when he is old enough, is the only person who should make any decision affecting the looks and function of his penis.VISIT CIRCUMCISIONDECISIONMAKER.COM

There Is No Iowa
So, for various reasons I'm trying to check my credit report online. Freecreditreport.com is not actually free if you want to see your report instantly and I don't want to find my purse and credit card and pay the dollar it would like me to. Zack recently used freetriplescore.com so I went there and started typing my info. I got to the part where I have to enter my state and I swear on everything that is good there is no option for Iowa.
Have I been hallucinating the past 24 years? Does Iowa not exist? Because I feel a little bit like I'm taking crazy pills.
I find myself whining "Well, what the frack should I do??", to Zack, which is a question I absolutely loathe being asked and he tells me what I tell him when he whines it at me, "Make an executive decision. You're an adult.".
I don't know why he doesn't punch me.
Well, I gave it the good old college try. I'll call customer service tomorrow.
Maybe.
Let me address the adorable miniature elephant in the blog. I have been absent. For no particular reason really. I had a job for a minute. Literally like, 8 days. I have been sick since then, which was like 2 months ago, because the job was at a germ factory (child care) facility. My illness is why I decided that job wasn't a good fit for me, which is a bummer because I really liked the job.
So, I guess, that's what I'm blaming it on. Sick and working 8 days. Also, being in hibernation because it was freezing. And having limited access to the internet. And Zack's family coming in town. And being really unfunny and boring and having nothing to blog about.
A little bit of everything I suppose.
But I'm back! Which is extraordinary, since I seem to habitate a place that doesn't really exist. A worm hole perhaps. "Iowa". I'm telling you check it out. It's not there. On the website I mean. It's an anomaly.
Welp. That seems to be all for this evening. Zack and I are watching a childrens movie on our giant new TV, because the picture is so stinkin' beautiful.
I'll speak at all of you again tomorrow!
Missed you!

I'm here! I'm just boring.
I didn't fall off the face of the planet. I know, it's been a while. I apologize. Even my husband, who I actually live with, asked me why I haven't blogged. Here I am!
Unfortunately, I just don't have much to talk about.
Which is so funny.
Because anyone who knows me knows I always have something to talk about. Always.
This week has been an unusually slow one.
So, tomorrow I will think of something interesting to blog about, I swear. Maybe even tonight, we'll see. I just wanted everyone to call off the search parties. I'm here!
Hey here's an idea, tell me what I should blog about! Leave a comment, let me know. It's very easy, you don't even need a google account if you're the last human alive that doesn't have one.
xoxoxo

30 Days
I thought I would jump on the "30 days" bandwagon and just put it here. So here's some things about me. All 30 days =)
This can also be found on the "About Molly Photos" tab!
**Warning- Crazy Long Post**
Day 1- A picture of yourself with ten things about you.
- I love my dog Hank.
- I hate feet.
- My middle name is Michelle.
- I married the love of my life on May 7th, 2010.
- I read a lot in the bath tub.
- I am a facebook addict, but I don't have internet at my house all of the time so my phone is ALWAYS dead.
- I'm training to be a Doula and will be certified by the time my Zack gets back from Bahrain.
- I'm not a good cook, but I'm learning.
- I'm a worrier, and I care about everyone. (See: nosey)
- Family is the most important thing in the world to me.
Day 2- A picture of you and the person you have been closest with the longest.
My bachelorette party
My friend T. Traci and I have been friends longer than anyone else I've been friends with. We met before Kindergarten and we've been friends since. 20 years-ish. Crazy.
I love T.
Day 3- A picture of the cast from your favorite show.
I love TV. My first thought was to put a picture of the Penguins Of Madagascar, because that show cracks me up. Then I thought of about 100 more but settled with Sons Of Anarchy. Then I changed my mind again, and decided on Modern Family.
Day 4- A picture of your night.
Last night was a Wednesday. We had dinner with my parents and watched some TV with them at their house. Then we came home and Zack and Hank bid on stuff on eBay and I took this terrible picture.
Day 5- A picture of a favorite memory from the last year.
click the picture to read about how we ended up together
This picture was taken at the bar we went to after we got married. I love our Zoolander pose pictures. And I loooved the day we got married.
Day 6- A picture of a person you'd love to trade places with for a day.
At first I thought about going with my sister-in-law Andrea, because I could definitely go for a day with my in-laws and niece and nephew, and I know she could use a day with her brother! But, then I realized if we switched places Zack would be super bummed that he didn't get to see everybody. I don't want him to be jealous. So, I went with Oprah Winfrey.
Because I really need someone to come in and paint my house, also I could use some new furniture and etc. and I know if she came to my house she would bring in Nate Berkus and he would totally hook us up. Plus then I could hang out at her house all day. Get some shopping done. You know.
Day 7- A picture of your most treasured item.
Well the things that are most important to me aren't things. This one is tough. They're people and animals, that mean the most to me. Item's don't mean much, really. And, I have some great items. I have a super nice car. I have a sweet pair of Tiffany earrings. I have a purse made from my husbands uniform, that is very important to me. I have a house full of stuff. Lots and lots of stuff. It's just not anything that can't be replaced is all. But I settled on my wedding ring. It's beautiful and it symbolizes a lot for me.
Day 8- A picture that makes you laugh.
For some reason when Zack and I go with my parents anywhere they make us ride in the back of their tiny little car with my brother. Who is 6' 6". This is us on the way to a wedding.
Day 9- A picture of the person people who has have gotten you through the most.
I have the best, and funniest, parents in the entire world. This is them at my Dad's 50th birthday party. The fact that I was able to operate my cell phone enough to take this picture considering the amount of alcohol I had in my system, is sort of amazing.
Day 10- A picture of the person you do the silliest things with.
If you've read the post Serendipity, you know how much Haley means to me. I've had a lot of fun with Haley. In this picture we were under an influence with Lisa and Tierra. We laughed until we almost died.
Day 11- A picture of something you can’t stand.
I can't stand animal abusers. I can't stand animal abusers. I can't stand animal abusers. There is no excuse. In my opinion if you can hurt a child or an animal, you are a sociopath. No matter what position you play.
Day 12- A picture of something you love.
I love dogs. Really I love all animals. But I'm definitely a dog person =)
Day 13- A picture of your favorite band or artist.
I've always loved Blink182. My music taste is super eclectic. But I've always loved Blink182.
Day 17 - A picture of something that has made a huge impact on your life recently.
I'm so scared of continuing my comfort eating habits and being discovery channel huge.
Day 19 - A picture of you when you were little.
I'm embarrassed. This is me with my imaginary friends. sigh.
Day 20 - A picture of somewhere you'd love to travel.
Oh Fiji, I long for you.
Day 21 - A picture of something you wish you could forget.
Day 22 - A picture of something you wish you were better at.
Day 23 - A picture of your favorite book.
If you have not read this book do it immediately. Love, Molly =)
Day 24 - A picture of something you wish you could change.
Dear God, Please help the Westboro Baptist's to see the error of their ways. They are a sick, sick, group.
Day 25 - A picture of your day.
I really only accomplished blogging and painting my nails today... but I just got a text and I'm having dinner with my Kenkels! So I'll add another pic after that!
Day 26 - A picture of something that means a lot to you.
My purse made from the Navy uniform that Zack wears. I like to have that with me all the time. I am so proud of him =)
Day 27 - A picture of yourself and a family member.

Thank GOD
I hate Ice. I hate icey conditions. I have always erred on the side of caution when it is snowing and cold outside I prefer to stay home. I don't like the idea of being in an accident any more than I would actually like having an accident. It makes me very nervous.
A couple of months ago a friend of mine was very randomly killed in a car accident. It was awful. He was newly engaged. It really could not have been sadder.
That incident set my anxiety level at an all time high. Every time Zack leaves my heart drops. Even when it's not icey. But lately it's been super icey and I pray every time he leaves, almost the whole time he's gone, that he will come home safe. It makes my stomach turn. Until I'm a shakey anxious mess.
Then, on Monday, I got a panicy phone call from Zack.
This is what happens when the roads are icey and someone runs you off the road.
These pictures make me sick. Really. It's hard for me to look at them. The next picture however makes me want to cry. It makes me want to get sick.
Thank GOD for these guard wires.
That's his head lights. In the guard wire. Those wires are what kept him out of on coming traffic.
I was at home blogging about spiders and cleaning out living room and he was spinning full 360's on the interstate.
ill.
He was really upset with me when he came home. Because I couldn't be upset. I had to act like it was nothing. Because I'm already crazy. I can't think about how bad it could have been.
I love him so much.
